Location: Colonial Harley-Davidson/ Richmond Children's’ Hospital
About the Event: The Teddy Bear Run is an enormous display of biker enthusiasm and generosity. Hundreds of folks on motorcycles meet up and ride North on 95 to the Children’s Hospital of Richmond in one huge motorcade. And the price of admission… a teddy bear to be donated to a patient.
Brunswick Stew Festival

Location: 17th Street Farmer’s Market
About the Event: This festival is the cornerstone of the Farmers Market’s events and is one of the largest of its kind in the nation, merging good food, music, and drink. Featured in the Pat Willard 2007 best-selling book “America Eats” , and is listed as an example of one of the best American-style festivals.

Location: Kroger stores
About the Event: Summit Media Richmond radio stations collect funds and food donations for the Central Virginia Food Bank. Listeners can donate online, at set drop-off locations or at Kroger stores as we broadcast for three days from a Kroger store for the finale. This event raised over 200,000 meals in 2011.
Dominion Christmas Parade

Location: Broad Street between the Science Museum and 7th Street
About the Event: This Richmond tradition is the kick-off to the holiday season. Thousands of Richmonders attend each year to see floats, bands, balloons and of course, Santa! We'll even have our own float in the parade on which DJs ride and wave to parade-goers.
