Disney In-theatre iPad App?
- The Walt Disney Corporation wants movie-goers to bring their iPads along when they go to see certain Disney films. The basic idea is that you download an app to play along during the movie, to add another layer to the movie experience. Some critics of the idea are concerned that thieves could easily swipe an iPad being held by a child in a dark theater. Others are worried that children won't understand the difference between a theater and their living room, if they are allowed to play on their iPads during the films.
C’mon Disney, kids have enough distractions as it is.
New iPhone Announcement –
Apple rolled out their new iPhone 5S and 5C yesterday. The iPhone 5S will feature a new home button that uses fingerprint technology. Your fingerprint data will not be stored, meaning the NSA will not be able to tap into your information. The 5S will be available in gold, silver and "space grey". Black will no longer be available as an option. The iPhone 5C will come in many colors - including white, blue, green, rose and yellow. The 5C will be a cheaper option for the iPhone and will feature a plastic case. The 5C will start at $99 while the 5S will start at $199 with a new contract.
Hollywood Hot Mess –
Bad sign for Lamar Odom's drug addiction trials and tribulations – yesterday he scooped up a household cleaning product that doubles as a vital part of homemade crack pipes. Lamar and his driver walked out of a San Fernando Valley pharmacy on Tuesday with a bag full of items , most conspicuously, Chore Boy copper scrubbing pads – which are somehow used with crack-smoking. Ruh Roh! Sidenote: Lamar is going around telling everyone that he’ll be back in the NBA soon, which is certainly possible, provided he puts down the crack pipe.
